From the reopening of February 02 to March 31, 2022, for the entire stay in the “white zone” or “yellow zone” and subject to new provisions of the Government, access to the archaeological complex del Pozzo della Cava will be possible in compliance with the following rules:

  1. Access is guaranteed from 9 am to 7.45 pm every day, with the exception of non-holiday Mondays;
  2. On Mondays, access is guaranteed by reservation and / or in the presence of flows of visitors, visitors without reservations are still allowed in the free shifts between different reservations or at the end of the same;
  3. Priority is given to visitors with reservations (online, by telephone or in person)
  4. The management has the right to provide different entrances for visitors booked and / or in possession of Orvieto Carta Unica, by setting up a special access path through the structure’s bookshop;
  5. Any visitors without a reservation or with an expired reservation are allowed according to the availability of the remaining shifts and in any case taking into account the order of arrival;
  6. In case of need, extraordinary opening hours are provided;
  7. Only visitors with a valid certificate of vaccination or recovery (“reinforced” Green Pass) or equivalent document are admitted; those without one will not be entitled to any refund for any tickets purchased in advance; all children under the age of 12 and patrons not subject to this legal obligation are exempted from this measure, on the basis of medical certification to be shown to the staff; visitors without a valid certificate will not be entitled to any refund for any tickets purchased in advance;
  8. On the basis of Legislative Decree 07/23/2021 n. 105 and connected (in particular the circular no.34414 of 30 July 2021 of the Italian Ministry of Health) are considered equivalent to the “reinforced” Green Pass for all visitors from A and C countries: Covid 19 vaccination Green Pass (digital or hardcopy), attestation of having done at least one dose of vaccine authorized by EMA-AIFA in the times and in the manner provided for by the law, certification of recovery from Covid 19 in the previous six months; for citizens from Israel, Canada, Japan and the United States it will be necessary to present (EU Recommendation No. 2021/912, 20-05-2021) identification of the person, type of vaccine taken and date of administration (in Italian, English, French or Spanish);
  9. All visitors are required to facilitate the control of the Green Pass, which can be done through the appropriate app on the management device or by any other means, including private;
  10. Visitors are allowed only after having disinfected their hands or wearing the disposable gloves made available by the management for anyone unable to use the sanitizing gel;
  11. The management reserves the right to check the body temperature of visitors by means of infrared thermo-scanner, preventing access to those who have a temperature higher than that required by national protocols;
  12. Visitors must wear a face mask of the type required by current regulations throughout the visit, covering their mouth and nose correctly;
