Starting from 11 of October 2021, for the entire stay in the “white zone” or in the “yellow zone” and until 9 January 2022, access to the archaeological complex of the Pozzo della Cava will be possible in compliance with the following rules:

  1. Admissions are guaranteed from 9:00 am to 7:45 pm from Tuesday to Sunday;
  2. On Monday, the access is guaranteed by reservation and / or in the presence of flows of visitors; visitors without a reservation are still allowed in the free turns between different bookings; on Monday 27 December and 3 January Pozzo della Cava will be open for the Nativity in the Well
  3. Visitors with reservations (online, by telephone or in person) take precedence; the management has the right to provide different entrances for visitors booked and / or in possession of Orvieto Carta Unica, through special access path from the structure’s bookshop;
  4. Visitors without a reservation or with an expired reservation are allowed according to the availability of the remaining turns and in any case taking into account the order of arrival;
  5. In case of need, extraordinary times are foreseen;
  6. According to the DL 23-07-2021 n. 105 and related documents, visitors from A and C countries will be allowed only if holders of: Covid 19 Green Pass (digital or hardcopy); Certification that they have had at least one dose of the EMA or AIFA authorized vaccines; Negative Covid 19 test result in the previous 48 hours or Certification of having recovered from Covid 19 in the previous six months. Entries from Israel, Canada, Japan and the United States certificates must include (EU Recommendation n. 2021/912 May 20 2021) identifiers of the person and information on the type of vaccine and date of administration (certificates shall be accepted in Italian, English, French and Spanish). Green Pass is not required for children under the age of 12 and for those exempt on the basis of appropriate medical certification to show.
  7. Visitors without a valid certificate will not be entitled to any refund for any tickets purchased in advance;
  8. All visitors are required to facilitate the control of the Green Pass, which can be done through the appropriate app on the management device or by any other means, including private;
  9. Visitors are allowed only after having disinfected their hands or wearing the disposable gloves made available by the management for anyone unable to use the sanitizing gel;
  10. The management reserves the right to check the body temperature of visitors by means of infrared thermo-scanner, preventing access to those who have a temperature higher than that required by national protocols;
  11. Visitors must wear the face mask for the entire visit, covering their mouth and nose correctly;
